Well She's Done!!

Finally Finished! She's tiny but cozy. I didn't think we would ever get done, I'm not one to be patient when it comes to decorating, I guess I like instant gratification,LOL. But it was worth the wait! I hope you all haven't given up on me ? I have more pic's of my cupboard but I will post those later. Have a beautiful day !

Kelly,
Yum, yum, yum! I just love your sweet kitchen. The bead board is so cute and adds just the right amount of texture to set off your gorgeous counter top displays.

Oh my goodness, I love it!!! I really like that green piece that you have plates on above your counter. That was such a great idea! Where do you find your plate holders?

I love it! It is perfectly feminine but not grossly so. It is one of the few I would use for inspiration for my own redo that is soon to happen. Thanks for another great idea!! :) I love it!!

OOOoooo, very much worth the wait! We're just lucky to have hubby's that can do this kinda stuff. He did an excellent job. Love all of your decorating touches. I like how you painted the shelves pink inside. As I'm typing this I just looked over to see I wrote the same thing as Becca, lol... she and I are too much alike! ;p
Would love to know more about the red under the sink, and the hardware. It looks so neat and really sets off the kitchen nicely.

Unbelievably awesome! I love the beadboard, but I also love how you displayed things on the counter. I think sometimes we are so obsessed with countertops (granite, yuck!) that it really doesn't matter what they are when you have beautiful things on them!

Your kitchen is wonderful! I just love it. Congratulations on a job well done. I also LOVE your trailer. I showed my daughter, who is not frilly at all (sigh) and she said it was cute but did we have to do our's that way?

Kelly!!!!!!!!! In my book, little rose vine, you have the all time perfect cottage kitchen!! I mean it; it's absolutely exquisite. Now, to just get hubs used to the fact that our cabinets WILL someday be white instead of birch and I'm on a roll!!! Lovely, my sweet chick......

It's so beautiful. And inspires me! I love bead board. You really know how to display things...like you could do that for magazines...like Fabulous Fifi does for Country Romance mag. I used to have her blog, hmm, I will have to search for it.

What a pretty pretty Kitchen! I am on a total anti- stainless/anti -granite
kick. I love the white on white. You did a great job!

I don't usually comment on blogs, but I just had to say how scrumptious your kitchen is. I love the beadboard backsplash, the rose platter and pitcher, and old green board with the butter pats. Such a unique way to display butter pats, of which I have a hugh collection. Oh, and of course, the pink kitchen aid (I have the pink one and just love it). Beautiful job.

I hope you see this. I was wondering how hard it was to put the molding on the cabinet doors. I've been experiementing with the same idea, but am feeling uncertain. Did you frame out the molding first then apply to the door, or did you apply each piece as you went along. Help! Thanks!

Rechelle ~Walnuthaven Cottage~ said...

me again :0). Did your hubby adhere the molding and beadboard with brad nails or with adhesive? I really appreciate your insight. Our kitchen project is turning into something bigger then we'd thought it would be, but that's okay. I know once it's finished I'll breathe a big sigh and know it'd been worth it.
