Finally Finished! She's tiny but cozy. I didn't think we would ever get done, I'm not one to be patient when it comes to decorating, I guess I like instant gratification,LOL. But it was worth the wait! I hope you all haven't given up on me ? I have more pic's of my cupboard but I will post those later. Have a beautiful day !
Wait where ya goin?? My kitchen isn't done,Jeff's reply, "theres a big sale at Home Depot, I might be a while, LOL". Not so funny is it?! I caught him loading these up, I knew I should have sold those when I had the chance. Look below, even Lulu is sad!! How could he leave our sad faces? LOL. Really he got all the trim cut and now I'm priming it and then I'll put the top coat on and he will put it in tomarrow, or else!!! Have a great day everyone.
It still needs more coats of paint, but I thought I'd show everybody how pretty it's looking! I love it even though for some reason I almost feel bad painting this one, oh and I finally found the company name that made this it was on the side of the drawer, it was probably worth a fortune and I painted it, LOL. all the drawers are dovetailed and it is soooo heavy! Anyway, I painted the inside robins egg blue and the outside white. Do you like it?? I think my dishes and teacups and whatever else I put in here will be pretty. By the way no progress on my kitchen, my husband had to work last night, I can hardly stand this wait, makes me want to do it myself! Now I wish I would have taken a woodworking class in highschool, it would have come in handy right about now!LOL. Hope you all have a wonderful day and a fun weekend!
Hi everybody! No pics of my kitchen yet, my poor husband is having a hard time with the trim around my beadboard backsplash, he is probably ready to ring my neck right about now!LOL. We have to trim around windows and the cuts are very difficult , especially when your an electrician not a woodworker! He is having to do it by hand (did I mention he is a perfectionist). So I thought I'd show you my next project that I've been working on so that I can stay out of his way and keep myself busy. I got this cute cabinet at Salvation Army. I am painting it and I almost feel guilty, someone took such good care of it over the years, it is in such good shape, I want to put all my pretty rose dishes, platters and my collection of tea cups that belonged to my Nana in it. Well, thats it for now, hope everyone has a great day and hopefully my kichen will be done tonight!!

Okay for your own good do not enlarge pics , everything is a mess,but whats a little mess amongst(sp) friends right. It is because we are installing beadboard paneling in my kitchen!!!! You don't know how excited I am, I have been waiting 10 yrs for this. I can hardly wait to finish it. This is also a sneak peek at my red cabinet I've been waiting to finish up, thats what started all this, we were at Lowe's when I showed Jeff the bead board and said Pleeeease!!The picture below (yuk) is me painting the trim.

P.S. The coke bottles in the first pic are holding the wood up before Jeff nailed it, just in case anyone was wondering if I was trying some kind of weird decorating style or if I had completly lost my mind!LOL.
I was inspired by the new blog I found, "The Cottage", I changed my version of it a little bit though. I couldn't find a robins egg blue star so I painted one I already had. Excuse the chairs, they are in need of new seat cushions and paint. Also when I was at Marshall's I found some teacups and coffee cups, I thought they were so pretty. The teacups look antique don't you think? I hope everyone has a good weekend!
This is my favorite canister set that I bought at Marshall's and we can't forget the pink Kitchenaid mixer, my Mom bought me my mixer for Christmas and I loooove it!
Okay so it's raining here again today and I'm bored, so I thought I would take another pic, this is my favorite rocking chair, it was pink when I bought it. I think this is one of my first pink things I purchased years ago and it is probably when my pink obsession began!LOL.
Hallways like mine are so boring, they are narrow and dark, so I decided to add some life to it I would paint it with stripes and flowers. Jeff made me the shelf with the hooks on it and I put wallpaper on the upper part of the wall . This area is a good place for backpacks and jackets during the school year since my boys bedrooms are located here. I still want to replace the light fixture on the ceiling with a little chandelier or crystal light.
Well I moved my fireplace back to the living room again! Thank goodness it is not real, what would I do?!! This is what happens everytime I get a new magazine, I get inspired and start tweaking( as LeAnn would say). I'm not done yet though, but I thought I would put a couple of pics up to show you what I've been doing. See the pretty yellow roses, they are from my boys for my b-day. So pretty.
This little spot is near my kitchen where you come in from my garage. A good place to hang your hat , my purse and everything else that comes in! I hope everyone is having a good start to their week! It is rainy here, a good day to stay in and redecorate!!
This post is dedicated to all those wonderful Daddy's out there! You deserve lot's of hugs and kisses and a few play toys of your own! We started out having lunch at this quirky little place called Le Tub, it is on the intercoastal waterway in Hollywood, they had the biggest cheeseburgers I have ever seen! HUGE.
I took some pictures of the view from our table. My husband was loving me bringing the camera, he wanted me to take a pic of every boat that went by! He even took the camera from me and shot some pics himself. I'm not going to bore you with all of them I just won't tell him.LOL.
What a view. This is when you really appreciate South Florida.
Oh and this is a little place I call Boys-R-Us! Jeff found his fathers day present, only $46,000. pennies for the amount he does as a father and it is fathers day right, well he tried.
I like Hollywood Beach because it still has that small beach town feel to it.

Good morning everybody! Come by and have breakfast with me to celebrate my birthday . It's so much more fun with lots of family and friends. I am 41 today, YIKES! By the way, I picked up my copy of Romantic Country last night at Barnes and Noble!!!! Oh my gosh ladies if you haven't got yours yet, wait til you see it. It has been worth the wait. All of the pics are so pretty , I especially loved "Rosy Outlook". Hope everyone has a good weekend. See the pretty bowls on the table,I bought those for myself for my b-day. Love them.
Isn't this the cutest little set! I love the cherries for Summer, I found them at Target for $2.50 each(by the $1..00 section) they have the platter, salt & pepper shakers and the cheese knives. They also have towels and oven mitts to match.
I found this handpainted napkin holder at Goodwill for a $1.00. So cute and it's pink, how perfect!
I also found this silver pitcher at Goodwill for $8.00, it is so heavy. I thought it would be so pretty with roses in it.
Can you guess what it is? It had an old peice of ledger paper from the 1880's wrapped around it with ribbon and a beautiful flower!

Good morning everybody! This isn't a very good pic but I wanted to show my new dish I found. I went to a local church thrift store yesterday and it was fill your bag for $5.00 day! I couldn't believe she let me put this in there, I love any of the old dishes with the delicate little roses on them. I also got an old straw purse with a pink velvet ribbon on it but there is also some funky looking grapes on it and I don't know whether to cut them off or not. I also found some handmade hearts in pink that I put in my bag. I don't know if you can see the little container next to the cherries but this was purchased at a rummage sale it has roses on it and when I opened it up I found little forks in side. See the three little teapots, got those yesterday too! So pretty. The lamp was only $1.00. Have a great Sunday!
I bought this pretty folding screen a couple of weeks ago. I haven't decided where to put it yet. I bought it to put outside on my patio but it is so pretty I may keep it inside. Don't know yet. Talk soon.Oh yeah, look at these roses, I bought them over a week ago in Target, they are the most beautiful roses I think I've ever seen, they look fake! (I usually cut the leaves off of them but I didn't have time and I just plopped them in this pitcher, they looked so pretty I left them as is).

So that means in my little 18 ft. camper I have 2 dining spots and it also sleeps 7. There are 3 bunkbeds, 2 couchs to sleep on and a full size(kind of) bed that is in the front and to the right as you walk in the front door. Did I mention we even added a door bell and for the kids I put spinning rims on the tires for a little bling, bling.LOL. Hope you enjoy! I was going to get more pics but it kept blowing the breaker on my house for some reason and it is really hot down here, I need the air conditioning. So I will wait for hubby to come home and check it out, I don't want any fires!
I love Marshall's, why is it I always find something I can't leave there without! Loved these storage boxes from Laura Ashley and the wood frames are the perfect shade of green and pink. I also got the metal rose vines, not sure what they are for, but I will probably just lay them across a shelf or table, who knows, but I will find somewhere to put them.
