I Have Lost Everything!

Can anyone tell me how to fix what I have done here? I was trying to add a pretty background and they said to set the blog on white minima, I did this by selecting a template. I must not of had a template originally and now it has deleted everything on my sidebar and I can not change the colors of my background, can anyone tell me how to get my original blog back again? Please. I have lost all of my favorite people , I feel so disconnected.

Before switching your template, did you download the old one to your hard-drive first? If so, maybe you can cut & paste all that html back into your template? Maybe?

I'm so sorry!

Oh I wish I knew how to help you but I don't! I would go to your blogger dashboard and select "help" you can type in what happened and chances are that has happened to someone else and there might be a hint on how to restore it.

At least it's just your sidebar and not all your blog posts!

I know that every comment you get you are anxiously awaiting someone to rescue your blog. I wish I was the one. Could you be using a different template than the one you first chose? If so then maybe you have to go play a bit with the templates to see.
I feel your pain. Saying a little prayer for you.

If you didn't save it to your hard drive...you lost your widgets or gadgets as they call them...sorry you just have to put them back. The white minima is only if you want to put like those fancy papers. You should be able to cover the pink with the fancy paper
by following the providers directions. But the widgets...I think they are gone...

I was scared once when it happened to me. I think I changed the back ground color. If I remember right I think I changed back to the color that I had originally. And again if I remember right I was lucky to have it back. However, it was a newer blog and I could easily have started over again.
that is all I know for my little episode.
Most of my stuff was in my emails so I could have spent all that time again putting it back on. But not fun to redo.

I have always had mimina [ did I spell that right] I changed to a different style today as I started a blog cause I would like those gorgeous blogs you ladys' have. but I am wondering now if I should have stuck with mimina. The one I chose has ducky colors.
Have a good night.

Oh can i realte to your frustration and dilemma.
This blogging thing is all new to me, and i have suffered through each step of the way.
Right now i have to think about what i can do, and not what i can't, because i might get frustrated and give up if i did.
I do love to blog though, and have a personal blgo (share life's lessons), and one for the little gift shop i opened in May. All so much fun, but a lot of new things to learn.
I hope all goes well for you.
