See the little table in front of my fireplace, well I got that at a yard sale last weekend for $20.00. I need to repaint it, but I love it.

Rearranging again

I moved my fireplace into the dining room and my buffet into the living room and on and on and on. Thought I'd show a pic, what do you think? I get very bored with furniture in the same place all the time, I constantly move things around . I did notice my seat cushion is messed up, I bought these chairs recently and plan on recovering them but can't decide on a fabric yet. Do you think I should paint them white or leave them the cream color that they are now?

Summer has begun!

Sorry everyone, no decorating pictures to post. I haven't had time! My baby graduated from 6th grade last night. He was so proud of himself! Also I spent this day in doctors offices with my oldest son Shayne, he had a boating,well loading the boat accident, and broke his foot, so he is now in a cast. Needless to say we made it to graduation, cast and all, and had a wonderful night. Have a great day!

Sweet Bunnies

I promise this is my last post for today! I found these bunnies at Home Depot today and thought they were so sweet. I don't know but I think I'm avoiding my cabinet project I started, I keep finding something else to do today other than paint!

A Driveby

This is one of my favorite houses. It is a rare find in South Florida! I hope they don't mind that I took a picture of their house, but I just love it. Wish I could say it was mine! My Mom and I found it one day when we made a wrong turn and now I just stop by every now and then to look at it, I'm surprised they haven't called the police yet . LOL. Usually when people keep coming by your house down here, they are up to no good. Oh well, thats it for now, back to painting my cabinets. Have a great day everyone.

My Toddler

I just had to add this picture of LuLu, she thinks the crib skirt makes a great tent. She is like having a toddler in the house, she can get into more trouble! But look at that face, who could get mad at her !

Hi Everybody ! My cute little find.

I've been busy painting my kitchen cabinets. Sometimes I wonder why I create these projects for myself! I'm tired. I did find time to stop by Goodwill today after I picked Jake up from school. This adorable crib skirt is pink velvet with some green, black gingham, and white( right now I can't remember the name of the material the white part is made out of), but anyways it fits perfectly on my coffee table. So cute! Well I hope everyone had a good day. Talk soon.

I'm Back ! Did Ya miss me?

I thought I would show a picture of where I would be spending most of my day! The laundry room! Yuk. We went to Central Florida this weekend for a surprise party for a long time friend. We had alot of laughs and great food, they had a low country boil,( shrimp, sausage, potatoes), cheese grits, corn muffins, cole slaw, corn, and yummy deserts. It was soooo good. But now time to get back to work. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

The Pets

Camper Birdhouse

I was visiting LeAnn at Pink Icing on The Cake and saw that her husband gave her a camper birdhouse for her birthday and I thought it was funny I had one too! So Happy Birthday my blogging sister, this one is for you! I hope you can find the real thing soon, so you can begin your fun of decorating a vintage camper!

This was suppose to go on with the buffet picture, but i'm not very good at this yet. This is another piece of furniture I painted with two different colors. I should have taken a before pic of it. It was ugly, a friend gave it to me. I think it makes a cute little desk.

Painting Again!

I've been busy painting(again). I painted my buffet cabinet and my dining room table yesterday. Do you like it? I'm not sure if I like it or not . I usually don't like furniture painted two different colors, I don't know why but I don't. Now I have painted two peices of my furniture this way in the last couple of weeks.

Bunk House Bedroom

We have a little guest house on our property. I've been working on the bedroom and thought I'd show a picture of it . There is still a little bit I need to do to finish but it's getting there.

I can't believe I found this furniture at IKEA , I never knew they carried slip covered couches! I thought they only had more modern designs!( They just built the store here in Davie, so I had not gone to it yet). I got on the escalator , and as I stepped into the showroom It felt like music should have started to play or something, there it was , my new love, and it is so cheap! Only 352.00 including slipcover. Not only that but they probably have 10 different slipcovers that you can put on it, with the most expensive one being only around 89.00. This is my kinda couch, I get tired if things very quickly, so this will be perfect. You can change them for each season! By the way the chair was only 170.00.
