Is it Fall Yet??

Well I'm ready for Fall, It has been so hot here in Florida and of coarse on the day we almost set a record for heat I decided to start decorating for Fall. I added slip covers to my chairs and some antique linens. I used some vintage pins to attach the linens. I put my pink flowers away and added some fall flowers to the sideboard/dresser. Maybe it will make the heat a little easier to deal with thinking about cooler weather that will eventually make it's way to Fl. LOL . I haven't started my dresser project yet although I did remove the veneer, with a few splinters in my fingers! I can't decide what I am going to do with it yet, inside or outside?? Have a fun weekend everyone!

I need you to come play at MY house--I want to change things up a bit, but I'm stuck. Thanks for the inspiration!!

It looks mighty comfy cozy in there. I agree with you. I'm so ready for Autumn/Fall to be here. It's just to hot...pfew!
We'll hit 100 today, I can imagine it'll be hotter for you w/the humidity. Find a nice shady spot, enjoy a nice cold glass of lemonade and "chill"

Fall is in the air here! A storm blew in from Canada yesterday bringing in very cool air! We were surprised how chilly it was here...not August-like at all! Maybe it will make it's way to you! I have been tempted to bring out some fall things. Your chairs look so nice and your flower change is beautiful!
Have a great day!

OMG I just read your comment and I felt terrible. I sure didn't mean to hurt your feelings. How are ya? Do you know how much fun you and I would have if we lived by each other. Sometimes God keeps people far apart for a reason.....LOL. We would be at Home Goods every day, well ok every other day....Haha!! Did you get your guys ready for school? Summer has flown. My son is in Florida this week and I'm overhauling his room....HELP!!! Have a great day sweetie.

Hi Kellie,
I love everything you do! That room is so pretty! I just posted my Rolling Romantic Home. You had wanted to see my RV.
Have you ever been to The Barn in Lake Alfred FL? It is west and a little south of Orlando. They have fabulous Fall decor. They will open after Labor day. If you feel like an outing it would be a fun trip. I always plan a trip for it. Such good prices! Any other FL girls?
If it sounds good lets all meet and get something pretty for fall.

Good to hear from you Kellie,
I live in Odessa which is an outskirt of Tampa. Let me know when you visit your friend. Glad you liked the tour of the RV. I couldn't find any Pink denim so we took Rachael Ashwell's Pink denim slipcovers and ripped them apart to get it. The curtains are her tablecloths.
I think you couldn't find me because I am also RoselakeCottage or Fresh Gatherings.
Hope to see you someday. Keep up your beautiful work as you are so gifted.
