Well the kids started school today and my house is soooo quite! Nice but a little sad at the same time, so since I had some time on my hands I thought I would show you these cute lamps I picked up at Homegoods the other day(you can click on the pic to enlarge) they have a rose applique on them and such pretty shades! Perfect size for my fireplace and so romantic at night.
I also bought this tray to put on one of my ottomans. It is hand painted and the colors are just perfect! I hope everyone has a great day and those of us in Fl. whose kids were delayed a few days starting school, thanks to Fay, I hope they have a safe and happy 1st day of school!!

I love the tray, such pretty colors. I just found your blog and I also have a cottage, so I thought I would say hi. I remember the days when my girls were back in school. After all summer I think it was a good day.

Ok, I have to tell you that I am so farrrr behind in reading everyone's blog and you have me just sitting here thinking I need to do a huge re-do to my house. Your home is just spectacular! Love your hardwood floors! I need to do this so bad - our carpets are horrible!
